Enjoyed staying at a small local motel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It was quiet. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would only recommend offering 2 pillows per guest. Great value.
Reasonable pricing. Room was ok. Close to Cooperstown. Only stayed here once. Didn't get to use the lake and it is beautiful! Great service at the front desk. Easy checkout/ checkin. Nice view from my room.
I stayed here for two nights while in town for a baseball league tournament, and it was a decent find considering the limited selection of affordable places in the area. The room was very clean, but the bed was entirely too firm and the shower required a 6 or 7 minute wait for it to warm up. And the shower was too small with a low shower head. It’s only about 30” x 30”, so anyone big or tall will have a difficult time using it. I’m 5’9” and 185 lbs, and I found it very restrictive. There was a guy a few rooms over that easily weighed 350 lbs, so there’s no way he could use the shower. I would say this place was definitely built decades ago when the average person was much thinner. It does show its age some, but everything was clean and in working order and it was relatively inexpensive, so I recommend it for those reasons. Just be aware of the situation with the tight shower if you plan to book here.
We had a one night stay here. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed -microwave, fridge, coffee maker and cable TV. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom, though small, was clean and had everything necessary. It's a great place, would definitely stay there again.
Great room. Staff was very, very friendly and room was very clean. Stayed here for my trip to baseball hall of fame and it's maybe a ten minute drive. Room is simple and a great value for the money. Clean bed, cable TV, wifi, stand up shower, plus bought my Cooperstown tickets at hotel. I'd definitely stay here again, very satisfied.
Hickory Grove is a great place to stay. It's quiet and not far from town. Staff is very helpful. The rooms are clean and neat. Shower space is limited, but the other positives make it easy to overlook this feature. Lake views are tranquil.
Great one night stay experience. Had the best sleep in like 2 weeks! Very clean room, had everything you might need. Staff was friendly, breakfast was nothing fancy but more than enough. Would definitely return.
Nice room for the price! It's a motel, not a hotel, so be realistic. Fran at the front desk was a dream. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. Be prepared for little to no cell service! Free WiFi is available but it was low strength and dropped out frequently. View of beautiful Lake Otsego from our window. Would definitely stay again. Very good value.
